Welcome to the website of the Diocese of New Jersey — the Episcopal Church in the lower two-thirds of the state.

We're the second oldest diocese in the Episcopal Church and one of the largest, with 160 churches. Nearly 100 languages are spoken within our boundaries. We're made up of urban and inner-city churches as well as churches of farmland and mountains. The ways we worship and our theological perspectives are among the most diverse in the United States.

We're glad you stopped by and hope you find what you're looking for. If you don't, contact us and we'll help.

Create a climate of enthusiasm and a natural opportunity for people in your church to reach out to their friends in a ministry of faith-sharing, providing spiritual growth for everyone involved in the process.
