Deepening
Spirituality Retreat
Holy
Trinity Church, Wenonah

The Deepening Spirituality
Retreat, led by the Reverend
Edmund Zelley, will explore
a wide array of sacred practice
in spirituality, including
walking the labyrinth, making
and praying with Anglican
prayer beads, imaginative
prayer, centering prayer,
and praying with scripture.
This retreat is designed
for a broad range of participants;
for all who seek to deepen
and widen their meditative
life. It begins at 9am and will end about 3pm.

The
Church’s Role in Building
a "Post-Racial" America
Trinity Cathedral, Trenton
At the annual anti-racism
conference, you'll have a chance to hear Byron
Rushing as the keynote speaker. A graduate of
Harvard and MIT, he's served
in the Massachusetts House of Representatives
since 1982. He's been involved in the Episcopal
Church most of his life. And he's been an outspoken
advocate for human rights. For civil rights.
And for peace and justice.
His talk will focus on anti-racism strategies in both church and state and
likely address issues such as affirmative action and educational testing.
Registration begins at 8:30am on Saturday, 21 November,
with the conference running from 9am to 3pm.
